Last updated: January 2026
1. Who we are
CASCers is operated by MedPsychKH Ltd, a company registered in the UK, company number SC812645. Our services include free WhatsApp communities, paid groups, mock CASC stations, teaching sessions, and other psychiatry-related training and mentoring activities for doctors and trainees.
2. Who these terms apply to
These Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors to the CASCers website, members of our WhatsApp or other online groups, and anyone purchasing any CASCers product or service. By accessing the website, joining a group, or purchasing a course or mock package, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
3. Professional disclaimer
CASCers provides educational, mentoring and exam-preparation support only and is not a healthcare provider. Nothing on this website, in our groups, or in our teaching constitutes medical advice, clinical supervision, or legal or financial advice, and it must not be relied upon as such.
4. No guarantee of outcomes
CASCers does not guarantee success in any examination, job application, portfolio outcome, or training post, even if previous members have been successful. Testimonials and feedback are illustrative only and do not constitute a guarantee of similar results.
5. Eligibility and conduct
You must be at least 18 and a healthcare professional or trainee (or have an offer for such a post) to join paid programmes. You agree not to:
- Share abusive, discriminatory, defamatory or confidential patient information in any group.
- Record, scrape, or data-mine teaching sessions without explicit written consent.
- Use CASCers platforms to harass, bully or intimidate other members.
- Advertise or promote any external products, services, courses, or materials in CASCers groups or sessions without our prior written permission.
Breach of these rules may result in immediate removal from groups or programmes, without a refund where removal is due to serious misconduct.
6. Our services and changes
Details of each group, course, or package (content, duration, dates, fees) are set out on the relevant page or in our booking messages. CASCers may update or improve content, change tutors, or adjust schedules for operational reasons, but will aim to provide equivalent value and learning opportunities.
7. Fees and payment
Fees for groups and courses are stated in GBP. Payment is due at the time of booking unless instalments are expressly offered.
8. Access to content
Access to live sessions, groups, recordings, and materials is granted for the period stated for that course (for example, until the relevant exam sitting). CASCers may withdraw access to outdated materials after that period or when they are no longer educationally appropriate.
9. Intellectual property
All course materials, slides, mock stations, written content, recordings, branding and logos are owned by MedPsychKH Ltd or its licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use materials for your own learning only and must not:
- Share materials publicly or in other groups.
- Resell, reproduce, or adapt materials for commercial purposes.
- Upload or distribute our content on other platforms without written consent.
10. Data protection and privacy
CASCers and MedPsychKH Ltd act as the data controller for the personal data you provide when you use the website, join our groups, or purchase our services. MedPsychKH Ltd is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and pays the required data protection fee in line with UK data protection law. Group sessions may involve peer discussion of clinical scenarios; you must anonymise all patient information and avoid sharing identifiable data.
11. Third-party platforms
Some services are delivered via third-party platforms (for example, WhatsApp, Zoom and payment providers). Your use of those platforms is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies; CASCers is not responsible for outages or issues caused by third-party providers.
12. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Subject to that, CASCers will not be liable for:
- Loss of exam fees, salary, training opportunities, or future earnings.
- Indirect or consequential losses, including stress, disappointment, or reputational harm.
To the extent permitted by law, the total liability of CASCers in respect of any claim arising from your use of the services is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product or service.
13. Cancellations and refunds
Your rights to cancel and receive a refund are set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
14. Changes to these Terms
CASCers may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect legal or operational changes. The version in force at the time of your booking will usually apply to that booking, but ongoing use of the website or groups will be subject to the latest published version.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the law of Scotland, England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.
